Sanmarg Foundation is a public, non-profit charitable trust dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged and creating meaningful change in society. Established over two decades ago, the foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to provide relief, support, and empowerment to those in need. Rooted in the philosophy of “Nar Seva Narayan Seva”, we believe that serving humanity is the highest form of service, and this principle guides every initiative we undertake.

Since its inception, Sanmarg Foundation has been actively engaged in numerous welfare programs that address crucial social needs. Education has been a cornerstone of our efforts, ensuring that students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive financial support to pursue their academic aspirations. For the past 18 years, we have been running a scholarship program in collaboration with the Harsh and Payal Hada Foundation, helping over a thousand students complete their education. Today, many of these students have gone on to become nuclear scientists, environmental experts, chartered accountants, bankers, corporate leaders, and professionals holding esteemed positions nationally and internationally.

In addition to education, we have been deeply involved in healthcare and disaster relief. One of our most impactful projects includes raising ₹50 lakh to build a 50-bed facility in Rishikesh, near AIIMS, for patients and their families. This facility provides affordable accommodation at just ₹50 per day, along with essential services such as a kitchen for meal preparation and a refrigerator for medicine storage. Over the years, we have also organized numerous health camps and extended aid to those affected by natural disasters.

Women’s empowerment is another key focus of Sanmarg Foundation. Through our initiative Aparajita Akaar, we provide financial support to women in rural India and work behind increasing their skillset and enhancing their market knowledge and exposure.

Our commitment to promoting Hindi language and culture is reflected in the Ram Awatar Gupt Utkrisht Shiksha Samman, that felicitates supports students pursuing hindi in their higher education. Now in its 18th edition, this initiative aims to instill a sense of pride in the language and encourage young minds to develop proficiency in it. We also support hindi teachers by providing technical knowledge to them to stay up to date.

Sanmarg Foundation has also been at the forefront of bridging the digital divide. By distributing tablets, laptops, and computers to students and schools, we have ensured access to digital learning resources, empowering the next generation with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, we reinforced our commitment to community welfare by distributing approximately 21,000 sanitary napkins to women from underprivileged communities and providing 1 lakh meals to those in need.
